Kindergarten - 5th Grade: RISE School Age Care

Designed for children in Kindergarten–5th Grade who need care outside of school hours. Care options include before school, after school, non-school days, and school breaks.

Attend another school? We do our best to accommodate families attending Arcadia, Holy Family, Whitehall, Blair-Taylor, and GET, with care options based on each school's calendar.

Care plans cover August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027 (42 weeks). Tuition is spread evenly across the school year.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Consistent Care is our most complete option and is designed for families who need regular care throughout the school year. It includes regular after-school care and scheduled non-school days.

    Customized Care is available for school-age children ages 5–11 and allows families to choose a set schedule of 1–3 after-school days per week and reserve the non-school days they need.

    Flex Care is available for 4K families who need full-day Friday care and non-school day care but do not need regular Monday–Thursday after-school care.

  • No. Your child's schedule is selected during enrollment and reserves their space and the staffing needed to provide care. Customized Care days must remain the same each week.

    Permanent schedule changes may be requested, but approval will depend on available space and staffing. We cannot guarantee that a requested change can be accommodated.

  • Yes. Tuition reserves your child’s space, not their attendance. Credits are not provided for missed contracted days, vacations, illness, or choosing not to attend.

  • We do our best to remain open when schools close due to weather, as long as our building can safely maintain temperature and enough staff are able to safely get to work. Families will receive a Brightwheel message as soon as possible confirming whether Little Raiders will be open.

    Consistent Care families are guaranteed snow-day care whenever Little Raiders remains open. Families enrolled in Customized or Flex Care must request snow-day care, which will be approved based on available space and staffing.

  • When Little Raiders is open for a full non-school day, regular care is available from 7:30 AM–5:00 PM.

    Families enrolled in Before School Care may arrive beginning at 5:45 AM, and families enrolled in Extended Care may remain until 5:45 PM.

  • Families with two or more children enrolled in RISE receive 10% off the oldest RISE child's weekly tuition.

    The discount only applies when multiple children are enrolled in RISE. A sibling enrolled in Nursery, Preschool, or Head Start 3K does not qualify the family for the RISE sibling discount.

    For example, if you have two children enrolled in RISE, the older child's tuition receives the 10% discount. If you have one child in RISE and one child in Preschool, the RISE sibling discount does not apply.

  • You may ask, but additional care is not guaranteed. Requests will only be approved when we have available space and adequate staffing.

    Families should select the non-school days they expect to need during enrollment so we can plan staffing appropriately.

  • That's okay! RISE accommodates families attending Arcadia, Holy Family, Whitehall, Blair-Taylor, and GET and plans care around the different school calendars to the best of our ability.

    Availability on non-school days is based on the child's selected care plan, the Little Raiders operating calendar, available space, and staffing.

  • Before School Care: 5:45–7:30 AM for +$20/week
    Extended Care: 5:00–5:45 PM for +$15/week

    Both are weekly enrollment options and are billed whether used every day or not. Families not enrolled in Extended Care must pick up by 5:00 PM.

  • Head Start 3K children who need childcare outside of their Head Start hours enroll in our Little Raiders Preschool program due to their age.

    We do not offer a separate 3K RISE wrap-around program. Preschool enrollment provides the childcare coverage families need before and after their child's Head Start 3K day.

  • No. Summer RISE Camp is a separate program with separate enrollment and tuition. School-year RISE runs from August 17, 2026 through May 28, 2027. for this school year.

  • No. Little Raiders does not provide transportation to or from school. Families are responsible for arranging transportation between their child's school and Little Raiders.

    Holy Family families may be able to arrange for their child to ride an Arcadia school bus to Little Raiders, but this arrangement must be made by the parent directly with the appropriate school/transportation provider. Little Raiders does not arrange, manage, or guarantee bus transportation.
